Inbalance privacy policy

Inbalance is made by ideeya, an independent developer. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the Inbalance app on Android and iOS.

The short version

Inbalance keeps everything on your device. We don't have servers, accounts, analytics, ads or trackers, so we never receive, see, sell or share anything you write in the app.

What the app stores

To plan your days, Inbalance saves what you enter:

your missions, tasks, plans and their progress
your diary: mood, water, energy, free time, and the things you mark as getting in the way of your day
stickers and badges you've earned
your settings, such as reminder times

This information is stored in a database inside the app on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.

What the app does not do

It doesn't ask you to create an account or sign in.
It doesn't connect to the internet to send your data anywhere.
It doesn't use analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking tools.
It doesn't access your contacts, location, photos, camera or microphone.

Notifications and widgets

Reminders are scheduled and shown by your device itself. Home-screen widgets read the same data stored on your device. Neither sends anything off the device.

Backups

Inbalance's own Backup button saves a file with your data to a place you pick, such as your Files app or a drive. That file goes only where you send it, and you can restore from it later.

Your phone may also include the app's data in its own backups, such as Android's backup to your Google account or an iCloud or computer backup on iPhone. Those backups are controlled by you and by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies. We can't access them.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling Inbalance deletes everything it stored on your device. You can also clear the app's data from your device's settings.

Children

Inbalance is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. If Inbalance ever starts collecting data, for example to sync between devices, we'll update this policy before that happens and say so in the app.
